Back by popular demand, this exciting hands-on workshop with renowned local costume-maker Jackie Miller will take place on Saturday, January 12, from 1:30-4:45 p.m. Set your creative side free and make your very own mask and capuchon in time for all the Mardi Gras festivities! The fee for this fun afternoon is $12 ($8 for members of Friends of Louisiana Folk Roots), plus a materials fee of $12. The workshop will be held at Louisiana Folk Roots in the Acadiana Center for the Arts, 101 W. Vermilion in downtown Lafayette. Seating is limited, so pre-registration is required.
