Lisa' Bio

Lisa Reed, who was raised in Scott, Louisiana, is the daughter of Cajun
accordionist Harry Trahan and grand niece of the 1920s recording artist
Bixby Guidry. She plays bass and sings in the Cajun band The Magnolia
Sisters, and was one of the full-time instructors at the 2006 Dewey
Balfa Cajun and Creole Heritage Week at Chicot State Park.  Lisa is
married to Mitch Reed, currently of Beausoleil avec Michael Doucet.
When she is not on the road, she can be found leading jam sessions at
Louisiana Heritage and Gifts in Lafayette, the Louisiana specialty shop
that she and Mitch own.
