In the short term, you'll receive:

- the Louisiana Folk Roots publication featuring stories, interviews, recipes, and other fascinating tidbits on Louisiana culture
- free admission to all the nightly dances at the Dewey Balfa Cajun and Creole Heritage Weeks
- free admission to the Louisiana Folk Roots Heritage Days
- a thank you gift to show our gratitude

Gift memberships are also possible. By registering friends or loved ones, you'll let them know you understand their commitment to Louisiana culture. At the same time, your gift will directly benefit the local community.
Private donations and corporate sponsorship are also welcomed. If you'd like to make a larger donation, or if you have sponsorship ideas, please contact us as well. Corporate matching gift programs substantially increase your contribution. Please request the appropriate forms from your employer. There are so many cultural treasures in Louisiana — the more we grow, the more we can strengthen them!

OUR MISSION
The object and purpose of this non-profit organization is to foster, encourage, share and preserve traditional expressions of Louisiana folk culture, with an emphasis on Cajun and Creole heritage, through performances and other types of related educational activities.
